SmartCHP project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research & innovation programme under grant agreement n°815259.

SmartCHP will design and build a novel small-scale cogeneration unit to produce renewable heat and electricity from sustainable biomass.

This policy explains the what, how, and why of the information we collect when you visit our websites. It also explains the specific ways we use and disclose that information. We take your privacy extremely seriously, and we never sell lists or email addresses.

This statement, set forth below, is our privacy statement. Here we describe the practices we follow to respect the privacy of all visitors to our website.

SmartCHP does not intentionally collect nor use any special categories of personal data (sensitive personal information) via our website.

Data of registrants will be stored until the end of the project.

  • Right to erasure (‘right to be forgotten’) – you have the right to obtain from the controller the erasure of your personal data without undue delay and the controller shall have the obligation to erase personal data without undue delay where one of the following grounds applies: the personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed, the data subject withdraws consent on which the processing is based and where there is no other legal ground for the processing; the data subject objects to the processing; the personal data have been unlawfully processed; the personal data have to be erased for compliance with a legal obligation; the personal data have been collected in relation to the offer of information society services.
  • Right to restriction of processing – you have the right to obtain from the controller restriction of processing where one of the following applies: the accuracy of the personal data is contested by the data subject, for a period enabling the controller to verify the accuracy of the personal data; the processing is unlawful and the data subject opposes the erasure of the personal data and requests the restriction of their use instead; the controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but they are required by the data subject for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims; the data subject has objected to processing pursuant pending the verification whether the legitimate grounds of the controller override those of the data subject.

RE-COGNITION  does not collect or compile personal information obtained by our website for dissemination or sale to outside parties for consumer marketing purposes or host mailings on behalf of third parties.
